Do I have to sit and wait for my note to finish before I can see my next patient?

Not at all! After you hit Submit, you'll have the option to start another encounter right away. Just select "Submit another encounter" to go back to the home screen. When your note is ready, you can find it under the "My Encounters" button at the top of the tool.
