Meet The ScribePT Team
"I’ve seen the impact of documentation burden firsthand. With several family members in healthcare, I understand how time-consuming and draining it can be to spend hours on notes instead of with loved ones or for self-care. Through my work at ScribePT, I aim to ease this strain on providers. This is especially important as more therapists leave clinical roles due to paperwork, at a time when demand for therapy is growing. By addressing this core issue, I hope to improve not only the well-being of healthcare professionals but also the accessibility of quality care for everyone, including our loved ones."
Amy is an experienced pediatric occupational therapist, practice owner, mentor, and private practice consultant. She enjoys combining her clinical and management experience with her passion for customer success to help practices grow and become more profitable. Amy transitioned to OT after a short teaching career, wanting to support children and families in a more holistic way. Amy lives in colorful Colorado with her family, spending her free time reading, sewing, and creating zany art.
"As a practice owner, I always felt like the administrative burden took so much out of me. It’s been a consistent theme with my employees and mentorship conversations as well. Joining the team at ScribePT was a goal of mine, because we are helping therapists rediscover what they love about therapy in the first place. Seeing practices thrive, retain great therapists, and be more present with their clients is the best part of my role here.”
Before joining ScribePT, David accumulated significant experience as a physical therapist and a leader within a hospital setting, as well as with one of the largest physical therapy companies in the country. He strongly advocates for achieving a balanced life outside of the clinic and appreciates that ScribePT supports other clinicians in reaching that objective. In his personal life, David enjoys spending quality time with his wife, son, and their many pets. Residing in Metro Detroit, he has a passion for sports, traveling, and outdoor activities. His favorite aspect of being with ScribePT is the customer-centric approach, which allows him to make a positive difference in the lives of fellow clinicians.
“My motivation has always centered around my family. They have steered my personal and professional choices, ultimately leading me to ScribePT. With this in mind, I take great pride in providing my customers with the opportunity to enjoy more time outside the clinic by alleviating the burden of documentation. Hearing customers share moments like, ‘I was able to attend my son’s soccer game because I wasn’t stuck documenting last Sunday,’ or ‘You should have seen my wife’s reaction the first time I walked in the door at a normal hour,’ fuels my passion and keeps me inspired.”
